Chris Drewry

Director
Chris Drewry has been at Eastern since February 2011 and has served as a Professional Advisor, Assistant Director of the Academic Success Center, Associate Dean of the School of Education & Professional Studies, and now as Director of Co-Curricular Academic Programming. Chris has an M.S. in Student Development in Higher Education and has two decades of experience working on college campuses. He also has experience working with area high school students and counselors as Education Certification Officer for Eastern and as the current Coordinator of Early College Experiences/Dual Enrollment.

Nicole Santoro

Graduate Intern
Nicole Santoro earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CCSU in May 2023 and is continuing her education to pursue a Master’s degree in Student Development in Higher Education. Her passion for working with students has played a huge role in her educational journey as she has actively engaged with students in various capacities. In summer 2023 and 2024, Nicole served as a counselor for the program, taking on a leadership role where she planned engaging games and activities, created daily schedules for faculty and participants, and fostered a lively and inclusive environment for both participants and counselors. She also provided overnight support and guidance in Constitution Hall, ensuring participants felt supported outside of structured activities. This summer, Nicole is thrilled to return to the program, eager to apply valuable insights from her educational experiences and continue making a positive impact on participants and the program as a whole.

Alison Guillet

University Assistant

Alison Guillet is a former high school history teacher with twelve years of experience. Aside from empowering students in the classroom, she also enjoyed working as a class advisor, academic team coach, and track and field coach. Prior to teaching, Alison earned her Bachelor’s degree in History from Merrimack College and her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Student Development in Higher Education, motivated by her commitment to helping students at both high school and college levels achieve their academic goals. As a staff member for Pre-College Summer, Alison is excited to plan and run engaging activities for the attending students.
