The schedule posted below is what the Library will attempt to maintain during severe weather. To verify that the Library is open, call (860) 465-4506. If the library is open, this number will be answered by a staff member and not by a recording.
When the University is closed all day: Library is closed.
When the University opens late: Library opens one hour prior to University opening.
When the University closes early: Library stays open two hours after the University closes but not later than 8 p.m.
On weekends when classes are affected: Library opens noon - 4 p.m. on Saturday; 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
If weather is creating dangerous conditions for essential staff, adjustments may be made to this policy.
