Biography

Anna D. Jaroszyńska-Kirchmann is a Distinguished Professor of History and a CSU Professor. She received her M.A. in history from Marie Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland, and her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She served as chair of Eastern’s History Department in 2013-17. She retired in 2022 and was granted Professor Emerita status.

Of Note

Anna D. Jaroszyńska-Kirchmann is past president of the Polish American Historical Association, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the scholarly Polish American Studies. She received numerous awards for her scholarship and service to the profession.
