Eastern's primary concern is the health and well-being of each student; therefore, Eastern is committed to creating a community that is free from acts of sexual violence. If you or someone you know is the victim of sexual violence, the following are resources on and off campus.

  • Counseling and Psychological Services
    The Counseling Service provides services to all matriculated students at Eastern. Recent or past survivors of sexual assault can be seen for immediate crisis intervention and longer term therapy. 182 High Street, 860-465-0181.

  • Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Eastern Connecticut
    The Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Eastern Connecticut provides assistance for both women and men who are victims of sexual violence. The Center operates a 24-hour hotline, immediate emergency response and follow-up services including counseling and/or advocacy.   • RAINN
    RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization.  RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline which can be reached at 800-656-HOPE (4673), online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es.
