Cap and Gown – Commencement 2025

Commencement is a joyous and dignified occasion, celebrating the academic achievements of our graduates. All students participating in the ceremony must wear an approved cap and gown, and only official Eastern honor cords may be worn as part of the academic regalia.

New for 2025: Graduates will don Eastern’s new ceremonial gowns in Eastern Blue and Maroon, showcasing school spirit and tradition. In another exciting update, decorating mortarboards is now permitted. Students are encouraged to express themselves creatively—respectfully and tastefully—while upholding the spirit of the ceremony.
