In keeping with its mission to represent the Eastern student body in all matters affecting their rights, interests, and well-being, and to ease a burden to which most students can relate at one time or another, the Student Government Association created the SGA Emergency Fund in February 2023. The This fund provides students with mini-grants to offset expenses resulting from both ordinary and unanticipated challenges, including (but not limited to) car repairs, medical bills, groceries, emergency transportation and more.
