Most general purpose classrooms also have touchscreen monitors as a display and a web cam. This provides faculty the ability to record their screens/powerpoint, as well as basic audio and video. Faculty can use Panopto to capture their lectures directly into their BlackBoard course. Note: Faculty can request a wireless microphone through Media Services for added audio capabilities.

Some rooms have also have two wall mounted video cameras to capture classroom activity. Ceiling mounted microphones are installed to capture audio throughout the room. Computer Labs

Computer Labs at Eastern put a computer in front of each student. Each lab can accommodate a variety of needs. Software for different disciplines has been installed to create an all-purpose, yet specialized environment. Special requests are always considered, and special applications can be implemented. Ensuring students and faculty have the tools they need to succeed is of the highest priority for our computer labs.
