David Pellegrini

Biography

Dr. Pellegrini’s doctoral research examined historical avant-garde performance in Germany and Japan prior to World War II, and the interrelationship between art and fascism. He has contributed articles, and reviews to Theatre Survey, Literature/Film Quarterly, and Text and Presentation, and was Book Review Editor for the New England Theatre Journal. In recent years, his research and production work has focused on intermedial performance and adaptation studies. He has also directed numerous productions spanning the world repertory, from the classical periods to the contemporary era.

Of Note

Dr. Pellegrini has served as the Coordinator of the First Year Program, and will serve as the Seminar Coordinator for Eastern’s new Liberal Arts Core (ELAC).
