Biography

Sarah Nightingale, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Criminology, and Social Work at Eastern Connecticut State University. She has over ten years of practice experience in survivor advocacy, violence prevention, and Title IX in the college context. Her research focuses on sexual assault within college communities. She is particularly interested in the experience of survivors from marginalized communities and exploring the impact of institutional response to sexual assault on communities.
