Anna Goddard, RN

Biography

Dr. Anna Goddard is a nursing educator and data-driven public health executive with expertise in evidence-based practice, multidisciplinary leadership, and healthcare innovation. A nationally recognized Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), and Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), she has more than twenty years of clinical, research, and management experience. Dr. Goddard brings a unique blend of clinical and academic leadership with real-world healthcare insight to the classroom and the public health policy arena. She is an active nurse researcher and published author with 47 academic publications to date in peer-reviewed journals and nursing, public health, and medical textbooks.

A leading expert and recognized pioneer in the integration of trauma-informed care into nursing practice, Dr. Goddard earned her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University, her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University, and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Westminster College.
