Biography

Dr. Cid works nationally with the Ecological Society of America as VP of Education and Human Resources to enhance undergraduate ecology education and increase diversity of ecologists to meet the needs of today's environmental professional workforce. Her research has focused on strategies to improve career development of women and minorities in the sciences, as well as forest and wetland ecology educational initiatives.

  • Improving K-16 forest and urban wetland ecology educational outreach
Of Note

In 2017 Dr. Cid was elected a Fellow of the Ecological Society of America. Her three decades of work for this professional society were recognized.
