Letter Recognition Transition Activity (2:28) - Clip #1510

As a transition activity, a preschool teacher asks children to pick letters out of a can. She provides scaffolding to children in naming the letter, identifying the sound the letter makes, and/or identifying a word that begins with the letter. For some children, the teacher picks out the letter that matches the first letter of the child's name.
