Acting Concentration

The Acting concentration in the Theatre Major provides students with opportunities to cultivate their performance skills through courses in Improvisation and physical theatre, stage voice, stage combat, and on-camera acting.

  • Choose six (6) credits:
    • THE 271 Directing II - 3 credits
    • THE 365 Special Topics in Theatre (when topically appropriate) - 3 credits
    • THE 377 Advanced Movement for the Actor - 3 credits
    • THE 393 Stage Combat: the Actor/Combatant - 3 credits
    • THE 471 On-Camera Acting - 3 credits
    • THE 499 Site-Specific Theatre - 3 credits
