Hotel Universe

February 19-26, 2021

The Theatre Program at Eastern Connecticut State University is proud to present Hotel Universe, written by Philip Barry and directed by David Pellegrini.

Best known for comedies such as Holiday and The Philadelphia Story, with this play Barry experimented with theatrical form in depicting a group of young American’s on holiday confronting their greatest fears.

Hotel Universe will be available to streaming on-demand beginning February 19 through February 26, 2021. This productions will mark the first time in the Theatre Program’s history that a mainstage production will be featured as a fully produced film, in collaboration with the students and faculty in our Film Studies program.

Please be aware that access to the on-demand performances of Hotel Universe is not open to the general public. Eastern Students, Faculty or Staff who are interested in streaming the performance must register to do so at least 24-hours before the performance opens, in order to be registered to receive special access to the streaming link. Friends and family members of those in the cast and crew must use the password given to them by their cast or crew member in order to complete registration on their form. Both forms are available at the bottom of this page.

This play depicts mature themes dealing with issues surrounding suicide and trauma which may be disturbing to some audience members.
