How to tell the Modality (online vs. on ground) of Courses in E-Web

GER/LAC Column says: Then your class is: And you must:
*ONG Fully On Ground: This class will meet in the classroom at the regularly scheduled time. Check Blackboard and your Eastern e-mail for instructions from your faculty member.
*ONL Online Class: your class will meet remotely during the regularly scheduled class times. Be prepared to participate in class through the platform (MS Teams, WebEx, Blackboard) selected by your instructor on the days and times listed. Check Blackboard and your Eastern e-mail for instructions from your faculty member. Make sure you have a working webcam with microphone and speakers so you can participate fully.
*CLA Hybrid Rotating Class Model: your entire class will meet with your professor on ground one day a week in a large room. The other class meetings for that week will be online. Be prepared to attend the class on the day and time listed. Look for instructions from your faculty member in your Eastern e-mail as to whether there will be other class meetings online at the same time on other days of the week.
*STU Hybrid Rotating Students Model: your class will meet on ground during the regularly scheduled times, but you will only be in the classroom one day a week due to capacity limits. You will participate remotely in class on the days you are not on ground. Be prepared to attend the class on the days and times listed. Look for instructions from your faculty member in your Eastern e-mail as to which class meetings you will be required to attend in person and whether you will be required to do your online work by attending class virtually. If you need to change in-person days, you will not be able to just “show up.” Consult with the faculty member.

Students may be permitted to take a Hybrid Rotating Students class completely online but will need to contact the professor for permission to do so.
