A close contact is any individual who was within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
A contact of a contact is not a contact!

If you were exposed to a positive case, meaning you are a close contact:

  • you must quarantine for 14 days
  • After day 10, retake a RT-PCR COVID-19 test

If you are a positive case:

  • Isolate for 10 days
  • Retake a RT-PCR COVID-19 test after day 8
