Marketing Concentration

All Business Administration majors must declare at least one concentration, either before the end of the second semester of sophomore year or upon transfer into the major. Choose from management, marketing, and/or international business. A sport management concentration will also be available starting in fall 2022.

Concentration Requirements

A minimum of 15 credit hours from the following 300 and 400 level elective courses is required to complete a Marketing Concentration.

Required elective (3 credits)

  • BUS 428 Marketing Research - 3 credits

Choose any additional 4 electives (12 credits)

  • BUS 321 Advertising - 3 credits
  • BUS 325 Consumer Behavior - 3 credits
  • BUS 326 Sales Management - 3 credits
  • BUS 327 Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing - 3 credits
  • BUS 329 International Marketing - 3 credits
  • BUS 465 Seminar in Marketing - 3 credits
