Understanding social, psychological, and group principles and phenomena and harnessing them through effective communication and managerial processes are crucial to the success of modern organizations. Human Resource Management concentration courses examine key employee administrative processes and best practices, management-employee relations, organizational decision-making techniques and tools, individual and group relations, and effective human skill development, utilization and management.
Concentration Requirements
A minimum of 9 credit hours from any of the following 300 and 400 level elective courses is required to complete a Human Resource Management Concentration in addition to a student’s Business Administration major.

**** Only students starting at ECSU in Spring 2016 or earlier may count BUS 331 towards their Human Resource Management concentration. BUS 331 may still be taken to fulfill the 12 credit hours of business electives required for the Business Administration Major.
