For over 20 years Eastern Connecticut State University has maintained a presence in Southeastern Connecticut, offering classes at a variety of sites. In 2003, Eastern opened its Groton site in the Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut, Inc., facility at 591 Poquonnock Road.

Eastern’s Fast Track Program in Groton

Courses to persons who have 60 or more college credits.

Work toward a Bachelor’s of General Studies for those interested in the fields of:

Business Administration, Human Services and Social Sciences


  • Attend most classes just two evenings per week for 18-24 months in Groton.
  • Courses are scheduled in 7-week sessions.
  • Most classes meet from 6:30 pm – 9:15 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.


  • Monthly payment plan through Tuition Pay.
  • Part Time students can apply for scholarships.


  • A minimum of ten courses are required from Eastern for residency.
  • “Non-classroom” options are available, such as CLEP and DSST tests.
  • Transfer back any additional credits needed from other approved colleges.


Attend classes with other working adults enrolled in Fast Track courses.
