Fall Transfer Opportunity Scholar Guide

Dare to be extraordinary at Eastern Connecticut State University. It's a place where a love of learning is palpable - and the drive to make a difference is even more so. You are officially on your way to becoming a Warrior! This guide will help ensure that you are fully prepared for the start of the fall 2022 semester. All you have to do is follow these steps:

  • Take a moment to enjoy this incredible milestone in your life – you’re going to college! Take a photo with your acceptance packet to commemorate the occasion. If you post it on Instagram or TikTok and tag @WhyEastern, we could feature you on our page!
  • To accept your award, go to and log in to your account. You will be taken directly to your home page (if not, click the tab for "Home"). Click on the program name to expand the box below, containing the link to an Acceptance form. Then, click on the link to be taken directly to your Acceptance form. Complete all required field, upload any required materials, and click "Submit".

The deadline to accept the scholarship is March 27, 2022.

  • Your Office 365 e-mail account is the primary source of communication between you and Eastern. Prior to arriving to campus, you will receive emails to inform you about enrollment. Your account credentials are also used to access eWeb to register for classes, apply for housing, and more. View instructions on how to activate your Office 365 account; please refer to your acceptance letter for your Eastern ID, username, and email address.

  • Make sure to submit any updated official college transcript to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible. Your credit evaluation is currently being reviewed and will indicate how your previous college courses will transfer over to Eastern. Your evaluation will be posted on eWeb Online Services. You may access this by logging into your Office 365 account, and clicking the icon titled "SelfService (eWeb)". You may then navigate to Student Services > Student Records > Transfer Course Evaluation.
  • Visit Housing & Residential Life's website for detailed application instructions after accepting your scholarship. You are not required to submit a tuition or housing deposit. Although your application will prompt you to rate your top three choices for housing, you will be placed in Occum Hall, which is our transfer student hall. You may learn more about Occum Hall by visiting
  • Please contact the Advising Center once your credit evaluation is completed for assistance with registering for courses. They may be reached at (860) 465-4526 or for more information. Complete course registration as soon as possible.
  • Please complete the travel survey here to inform your Scholar Advisor of your travel arrangements and assistance you may need. Continue to check your Eastern email with further details on move-in procedures from your Scholar Advisor.

Scholar move-in date is Wednesday, August 24. Please plan to be at Eastern on this date.

  • Please go to Health Services for the required health forms.

Be sure to review the "Five Things You Need to Read!" form.

  • Orientation Online is our mandatory program to onboard new transfer students. Orientation online will include videos and resources. For more information and to access the program, please visit
