Afarin Rahmanifar

Biography

Afarin Rahmanifar received her MFA in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking from the University of Connecticut. She specializes in mixed media painting, installation, book Illustration, film production, and Persian miniature painting. Rahmanifar’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Her work was featured on the cover of Eastern Art Report Magazine (London, UK) and in a documentary film, Where Lies Beauty, produced by Mattatuck Museum (Waterbury, CT).

Of Note

Rahmanifar curated and directed the exhibition, Benevolence, at the Marillyn Brewer Community Gallery as part of the Tirgan Biennial Cultural Festival in Toronto, Canada. She is represented by SOHO 20 Gallery, Brooklyn, New York.
