Roy Wilson is Professor and Chair of the Environmental Earth Science Department at Eastern Connecticut State University. He has a PhD in Geoscience from Oregon State University and is interested in human impact on the physical landscape. Roy has hiked on many of the long distance trails in the U.K. including the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, Hadrian's Wall, the Southwest Coastal Path, and Offa's Dyke Path.
Nick Clarke is a former head of the History Department at Leckie Secondary School in Walsall, England. He has an MA from the University of Wales at Aberystwyth. Nick can answer your historical questions about English and Welsh history. He can also discuss the misfortunes of the Aston Villa football team at length.
Roy and Nick played basketball on the same team years ago when Roy was on a Fulbright in England. Since then they have hiked and philosophized in the U.S., England, Scotland, Ireland, and along the French/Spanish coast on the Mediterranean Sea.
