A guide to life in the Thread City!

What you need to know about living off-campus as an Eastern student

So you’re thinking about moving off campus…

Or, maybe you've been living off campus for years...

The decision to live off-campus is one that can be very exciting! For some, it is the first time they’ve lived alone and without close supervision. This freedom can be a wonderful learning experience. However, for some, it doesn’t provide the wonderful, growing experience they are looking for. This guide is designed to help you think through all you need to know in order to have a safe, successful experience living off-campus.

Do you know what to look for in a good lease?

Do you know if you need renters insurance?
Do you know how much it costs to live off-campus?
Do you know how to find a great, safe apartment?
