Studio Art

Studio Art Concentration

The Studio Art Concentration offers courses in both traditional and alternative approaches, designed to develop observational skills and promote a high level of craft. Advanced students are encouraged to identify and develop a strong personal point of view in their coursework and studio practice.

After completing 110, 111, 201, and 202 students submit a portfolio for admission to the program. A successful portfolio is required before students enroll in 300 level courses. Portfolios must be carefully prepared according to guidelines available in the Art & Art History Department Office (FAIC 317).
