Opportunities at Eastern
"My experience at Eastern prepared me for life after college. As a nontraditional student, there is nothing greater than the opportunity of education. My favorite professor was also my advisor, Dr. Eric Martin; a professor who believes in educating about current events outside of text books and inspires students to better themselves while giving back to their community.
One of the greatest experiences I took part in was traveling and studying in China during the summer of 2007 with Dr. Liu of the Business Department.
Words of Advice for Fellow Veterans
Being a Veteran has its benefits at Eastern; as a full-time college student I was able to receive a tuition waiver. The Office of Veterans' Services has always been very accommodating in assisting me throughout my time at Eastern.
Take advantage of the tuition waiver while receiving a great education at a state college, where classes are intimate and professors care."
