For the third year in a row, Eastern made the list of “Great Colleges to Work For” released by the Chronicle of Higher Education in July 2011. ModernThink LLC, an independent research company, surveyed 310 colleges and universities and more than 44,000 employees at those institutions to develop its findings.

In fall 2010 and again in fall 2011, U.S. News and World Report ranked Eastern in the top 30 Public Regional Universities in the North. Of particular note, Eastern’s institutional reputation, as measured by a peer review by presidents and provosts from other colleges, was at an all-time high.
