The mission of the Windham/Eastern Community Action Network (W/E CAN) is to:

“work together to effectively address the quality of life issues in the Windham Community through positive actions to achieve positive results.”

Representatives from Eastern Connecticut State University, Town Officials, students, neighbors and concerned citizens meet 6 times a year to learn and discuss issues of interest and concern to the community. All are welcome to attend. Meeting locations alternate between the Arthur L. Johnson Community Room in the Eugene Smith Library on the Eastern campus and the Windham Town Hall Auditorium.
