Governor’s Council on Climate Change: Governor’s Stakeholder Event
Participants at 9 satellite locations will view the video broadcast of a presentation at the primary location in Hartford before engaging in locally-facilitated dialogue. Nearly 200 people across the state participated in the first round of dialogue in May to help shape the efforts of the Governor’s Council on Climate Change (GC3) in developing a plan to achieve the state’s mandated goal of an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions below 2001 levels by the year 2050.
When: Tuesday, July 26th, 5:30-7:30pm
Where: Location varies based on town. For Willimantic, it will be held in the Johnson Room in the ECSU Library.
Who: Faculty, Staff, Students, Town Members, and Town Officials involved with sustainability.
