ISO-NE Load Response
This Program is available to UI and CL&P Customers capable of reducing a minimum of 100 kilowatts (kW) of demand pursuant to the ISO-NE's Load Response Programs. ISO-NE will consider a demand reduction of 5 megawatts (MW) or higher on a case-by-case basis. The Customer must have an electronic meter capable of providing pulse output sufficient to meet the interval data requirements of the program; a 120-volt power source in close proximity to the meter, and an Internet based communications connection to the World Wide Web. The Customer must enter into a Customer Agreement with the Company to participate in this program. The Company is not required to contract for a level of energy reductions greater than the Company reasonably believes the Customer is capable of interrupting. Participation in the program starts when the installation of all required software and hardware is complete and successfully tested.
