Energy Purchasing

• When Connecticut deregulated energy, students at Connecticut College began a movement to encourage the administration to purchase renewable energy systems. The Renewable Energy Club led this campaign, which resulted in 45% of the college’s current energy usage being supplied by wind power. This site describes the evolution and results of that student led movement.
