As the Division of Student Affairs at Eastern Connecticut State University, we strive to foster a cultured sense of awareness amongst our students. Through engaging activities that promote public awareness, civic engagement, inclusion, healthy lifestyle choices and cross cultural sensitivity, we enlighten and broaden our students’ mindset.  As a community, we work collectively with members of the faculty and staff to provide a well-rounded, co-curricular experience optimizing student learning.

For the 2011-2012 Academic Year, the Division has chosen the theme: “Social Justice: Your Voices. Your Movement. Your World.”  Social Justice encourages and inspires our student body to consider their voice and movements and how they embody the enactment of social justice at Eastern.

Through transforming conversations and activities, we hope to raze all facades of exclusion to endorse and sustain a climate of inclusivity. The Division of Student Affairs invites you to join us as we celebrate “Social Justice: Your Voices. Your Movement. Your World”.
