Looking to join a student organization or become involved in community service? There are over 90 student organizations at Eastern, along with countless department and university sponsored events, where commuters are always welcome to participate.

The Student Government Association Page provides information on student run organizations. There are also positions within the Student Government Association reserved especially for commuter representation.

Leap into Leadership is a student leadership series is a 3 tiered personal student leadership program to enhance campus culture by providing leadership training experiences for students.The program encourages students to explore their own individual leadership development potential. Students will engage in a series of sessions throughout the academic year that will enhance their Liberal Arts experience by exploring topics in line with the University’s Core Values.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) always has activities happening throughout campus. There are opportunities for commuters to participate as well as organize events. If you would like to get involved with CAB, visit the link!

The Center for Community Engagement connects Eastern students to the surrounding community by giving back through community services initiatives.

If you are looking to participate in extracurricular activities, Intramurals are available through The Department of Athletics and change throughout the fall and spring semesters.

The University Hour is a Wednesday afternoon program offering the Eastern community a unique opportunity to experience cultural and educational events that enhance and support the curriculum through interdepartmental and collaborative efforts.
