American Humanities Index

A collection of bibliographic references to literary, scholarly and creative journals published in the United States and Canada. Provides citation information for articles, essays and reviews, as well as original creative works including, poems, photographs, painting and illustrations.

American National Biography

Contains biographies of almost 18,000 deceased men and women, whose lives have shaped America. Entries also include photographs, and bibliographies citing books and articles about the person, and where to locate newspaper obituaries.  

Historical Abstracts

Complete reference guide to the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding United States and Canada which are covered in America History & Life.

JSTOR

A full text archive of core scholarly journals in cross-disciplinary fields such as anthropology, economics, mathematics, and arts and sciences.
