Association of American Geographers:  "The Association of American Geographers (AAG) is a scientific and educational society founded in 1904. Its 9,000+ members share interests in the theory, methods, and practice of geography and geographic education.”—AAG website.  They sponsor an annual meeting and several publications that span several subdisciplines.  The website also contains information on jobs and careers in geography.
