You have a web design business in addition to being a student and are designing a Flash movie for a client. You are looking for some music to plug into your movie, and you and
your client decide that the Dave Matthews Band's "So Much To Say" would be perfect.
You finish the project, and your client loves it. He mounts it on his web site, but a month
later contacts you to ask you to redo it because he's received a letter from a law firm
representing the Dave Matthews Band's recording company telling him he's breaking the
law by using this music without permission.

Respond to the following questions:

  • How do you feel about this?

  • Do you think you have done anything illegal? Why or why not?

  • Do you think you have done anything unethical? Why or why not?

  • Is there a term or phrase to describe what you have done?

  • What could you have done differently?
