You have ordered a sub to go at a local sub shop and people are watching as you wait near the front counter for your name to be called. Another student walks up to the counter, places his order, then asks for a cup for water. He is given a small cup, easily distinguishable from the cups provided to those who purchase a soda. He then walks over to the soda dispenser and fills his cup with Dr. Pepper, which he drinks while standing in the corner, out of view of the front counter. He smiles and winks at his friend, then refills his cup, still out of view of the front counter.

  • How do you feel about this?

  • Do you think he has done anything illegal? Why or why not?

  • Do you think he has done anything unethical? Why or why not?

  • Is there a term or phrase to describe what he has done?
