Dr. Dennis C. Canterbury
is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Eastern Connecticut State University
in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work. He is also
the Vice President of the New York African Studies Association. His recently published
book is Neoliberal Democratization and New Authoritarianism,
