Book Talks

What is a Book Talk? Book talking is all about selling the book or getting the listener interested in what you are saying. Interested enough for them to want to pick the book up after you have put it down. There are several ways of doing a great booktalk and these sites will provide you with the materials and the practice skills that you will need to perform a booktalk. Yes, booktalking is a performance. No, you don't need to be an actress or actor to do a booktalk. You just need to know your book and bring out the excitement when it is needed.

We have printed many booktalks for your use. Please come to the Curriculum Center and ask for the Booktalk Binders.
