| Description | The
Connecticut State University Digital Art Collection contains over
6,600 images in the areas of architecture, painting,
frescoes, sculpture, and urban design.
Digital
images in this collection are licensed for exclusive use by students and
faculty at the Connecticut State University. Image access is also provided to these additional collections: David Rumsey Historical Maps Collection: focuses on 18th and 19th century North and South American cartographic materials. Farber Gravestone Collection: documents sculpture on over 9,000 gravestones most of which were made prior to 1800. Hoover Institution Archives Posters Collection: Russian posters selected from the 33,000 cataloged political posters at the Hoover Institution Archives. Japanese Historical Maps Collection: The Japanese Historical Maps Collection of the East Asian Library contains about 2,300 early maps of Japan and the World. Represented in this online collection are a selection of maps and books from the collection. Museums and Online Archive of California (MOAC): Selected works from the permanent collections of eight California museums. The AMICA Art Library has a separate entry on the Database A-Z list. This collection contains over 114,000 works of art from the collections of contributing museums worldwide. Additional image collections are available on the Cartography Associates site. |
