Black Short Fiction


Description

Black Short Fiction contains approximately 4370 stories and folktales by 272 African, African American, and Caribbean authors. When complete this collection should have approximately 8000 works of short fiction.

When complete, it will feature the English-language literature of more than 15 countries, with additional units of French and Portuguese literature from the African continent. In addition, the collection will include literature in languages that have their origins in African countries and are still present in some regions today, such as the Gullah language of South Carolina.
