CT.gov   This is the official State of Connecticut web site. It is a portal to individual agencies, organizations and offices throughout the executive, judicial and legislative branches of Connecticut state government. A list of all the towns with links to their web sites.

Department of Administrative Services  

Department of Children & Families (DCF) On this Website you will find information about how to help children, how to report abuse or neglect, how to adopt a child or become a foster parent. You will find reports and data about the services DCF offers.

Department of Consumer Protection     The agency's mission is to ensure a fair and equitable marketplace, safe products and services for consumers in the industries that we license, regulate and enforce. Find links for the National Do Not Call list, charitable solicitation activities, and much more.

Geospatial Data MAGIC: Map and Geographic Information Center

The Map and Geographic Information Center (MAGIC), the University of Connecticut's Map Library, collects maps, atlases, gazetteers, aerial photographs, and digital geospatial data, as well as resources on the history and current state of cartography.

Connecticut Freedom Trail     It is hoped that those who visit some or all of the locations on the Freedom Trail will gain a greater appreciation for the experiences and contributions of Connecticut's African Americans.

Connecticut History Online     Connecticut History Online (CHO) is a collaboration between the Connecticut Historical Society, the Connecticut State Library, the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center at the University of Connecticut, Mystic Seaport, and the New Haven Colony Historical Society.  The CHO website currently contains about 14,000 images of photographs, drawings and prints which may be searched or browsed in a variety of ways, including by keyword, subject, creator, title and date.

Connecticut Population Projections were published by the Connecticut State Data Center at the University of Connecticut on May 16, 2007

iCONN is part of the Connecticut Education Network. It will provide all students, faculty and residents with online access to essential library and information resources. It is administered by the Connecticut State Library in conjunction with the Department of Higher Education. Through iCONN, a core level of information resources including secured access to licensed databases is available to every citizen in Connecticut. In addition, specialized research information resources are available to college students and faculty.

Scanned maps of Connecticut  This historical map collection consists of 395 digitized maps of Connecticut, Long Island Sound, New England, the Northeast Atlantic region, and the United States, from the period 1676-1930.
