Scheduling Manual – Scheduling Policy Guidelines

The University’s scheduling policy was developed and implemented in 2011. The following policy must be followed by each scheduling area and is regulated by the Registrar’s office and Deans during the scheduling process. Any discrepancies between the schedule submitted and the policy will be communicated to schedulers for corrections. If a department believes that they are unable to adhere to the policy, the department can submit a “Scheduling Appeal Application” that can be found under the “Faculty/Staff” section of the office website at The Course Scheduling Committee will review the application for a one-time or permanent waiver of the policy and will contact the department once a decision has been made. Any questions about the process should be directed to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
