Yale Splash

Splash is a program that brings students from grades 7-12 from all over the country to Yale’s campus for a day to learn from college students. Splash will take place on April 8th this spring, and we hope to include teachers from other colleges for the first time! Depending on interest, we may be able to provide transportation for students to come and teach a few classes throughout the day. Classes are generally one hour long, and can be about almost anything you think the students would find interesting. We have had classes about the science of baking cookies, Pokemon Go, organic chemistry, and everything in between. To get a sense of the vast variety of classes, check out this past catalog. We will even provide materials for you to make your class as interesting as possible for the students. If you are free on April 8th and at all interested in teaching, please fill out this form by February 1st. We will email you by February 10th to let you know about transportation and give you feedback on your class ideas. If this is something you really want to do, make sure to get your friends to sign up with you, since we won’t be able to provide transportation if not enough people sign up. If you have any questions, please email us at Yalesplash@gmail.com!
