Students from 161 of Connecticut's 169 towns attend Eastern.
Applications for admission for the fall 2007 semester are up 10% over fall 2006.
1261 new students were enrolled in fall 2007.
Male: 45% ; Female: 55% (fall 2007)
Students from 26 states, including California, Illinois, Nevada, Washington, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Hawaii, Texas, Florida and all six New England states.
International students are attending from more than 34 countries, including Sweden, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Taiwan, Jamaica, and Botswana.
The class of 2011 is Eastern’s largest ever, with 3,975 full-time undergraduates and more than 5,100 total students.
More than 60 percent of full-time undergraduates live on campus — a community of more than 2,500!
