  • Students from 161 of Connecticut's 169 towns attend Eastern.
  • Applications for admission for the fall 2007 semester are up 10% over fall 2006.
  • 1261 new students were enrolled in fall 2007.
  • Male: 45% ; Female: 55% (fall 2007)
  • Students from 26 states, including California, Illinois, Nevada, Washington, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Hawaii, Texas, Florida and all six New England states.
  • International students are attending from more than 34 countries, including Sweden, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Taiwan, Jamaica, and Botswana.
  • The class of 2011 is Eastern’s largest ever, with 3,975 full-time undergraduates and more than 5,100 total students.
  • More than 60 percent of full-time undergraduates live on campus — a community of more than 2,500!
