CRIME ALERT

5/6/08

Eastern Connecticut State University Police Department

 

 

The Eastern Connecticut State University Police are actively investigating the following incident:

 

On Monday May 5, 2008 at approximately 9:20 pm, a student reported being robbed by a male on the sidewalk of the Windham street side of Burr Hall near the blue emergency phone. The victim reports that a handgun was shown by the suspect.  The victim’s wallet, cell phone, ipod and book bag were taken. The victim was alone when the incident occurred.  The victim described the suspect as the following:

  • An African American Male approximately 6 ft tall.  His hair was braided cornrow style.  He was wearing a black doo rag on his head and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
