Different terms associated with whales are explained in this website, as well as pictures and diagrams. Different whale types are mentioned in this website, and printouts and activities are given. The only thing that is missing would be links to other sites about whales, but they are not necessary wince this website has covers everything there is to know about whales.

Description: This website contains information on several different whales. It has an area that gives addresses to send in whale art work made by children, and an address for sending in questions to a marine biologist. Also included is a section that lets the user listen to some whale sounds. The only faults this website has is that it isn't as comprehensive as a lot of other sites.

Description: This website offers a lot of useful information. It describes Classification of whales, Life Cycles, Characteristics, and Senses and Intelligence of whales. It also has an area for Whales and Humans, which discusses how humans affect whale life. It does have a lot of larger terms that younger children would not be able to read, or understand. It also does not provide any activities for follow-up use.
