Purpose of the Virtual Library:

The purpose of this virtual library is to provide for students, teachers, and parents, valuable resources about our surrounding ocean's sea life. Developmentally appropriate websites and activities have been provided to engage children and educators about this topic. This library will hopefully open many doors for the child and educator alike, so that they may look further into our oceans and ocean life surrounding our world.

Review Scale and Rating Scheme:

The websites within this virtual library were reviewed and rated based on a 0-5 rating scale. The criteria that the websites were rated on were: Content, Accessibility, Currency, Speed, and Availability of Follow-up Information.

Organization Scheme:

We have broken down this website into subcategories for easier use and navigation. Our subcategories are Fish, Sharks, Whales, and Other sea life (dolphins, seals, etc.).
