Applying Systems Thinking, Information Systems, Operations Research and Management to Social Problems

 

A half-day workshop, Friday November 19th 2004, 1 to 6 pm

 at Eastern Connecticut State University

This ECSU workshop is designed for researchers and practitioners to share experiences, dilemmas, proposals and current research on the application of Systems Thinking, IT, Operations Research and Management to Complex Societal Problems. Related areas also include Community Operations Research, Community Informatics, Social development, Inter-organizational Relationships & Civil Society Building.

 

 

This is a “Pre DSI 2004 Boston event,” held in conjunction with the DSI mini-track on Complex Societal Problems taking place Sunday am Nov 21st

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit a one-page application (single spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt. font.) that includes a title, authors’ names, affiliation, and email and an abstract to petkovd@easternct.edu  by November 1st 2004.
