Group Colloquium Question Assignment
Please develop four questions for the faculty colloquia related to the specific topics we have discussed in class.  Each question must be followed by a short summary (1 paragraph) elaborating on the points or concerns of your question in greater detail.  All of your questions should be based on topics and issues of the particular course section. These are, in order: 1. "Politics and the English Language," 2."Literature and Society," and 3."Rhetoric and Writing in College"

Suggested ideas or themes for questions:
questions based on specific ideas from the readings
questions based on specific ideas raised in class discussion
questions about each faculty's own teaching approach or general attitude about a certain topic or issue

I am making your readings available to each member of the faculty colloquium.  I hope the conversation will be as free-wheeling as possible, but you should stick close to topics at hand.

Your list of questions should be typed and double-spaced and turned in on the class day immediately preceding the faculty colloquium.
