I am currently exercising my interest in the teaching of writing by teaching ECSU's first-year writing courses and coordinating the first-year writing program. My other scholarly interests include rhetorical theory and criticism, and the rhetorics of politics and religion. My scholarly work includes presentations at the following conferences: College Composition and Communication, Council of Writing Program Administrators, Rhetoric Society of America, and the Modern Language Association.
